InTeM is an insulative composite system of tensioned membrane composed of a thermal insulation blanket sandwiched between inner and outer skins of architectural coated fabric.

The internal insulative blanket is cross linked, closed cell, polyethylene foam. The insulation blanket can be constructed of multiple layers of foam blanket. The thickness of the blanket is dictated by the thermal insulation requirements of the particular application

The inner and outer layers can be fabricated from conventional architectural coated fabrics either PTFE coated glass weave fabric or PVC coated polyester weave fabrics with PVDF lacquers; the insulation blanket is compatible with either material.
