University Hill Cafe
Located in a northern suburb of Melbourne, this eye catching building was the work of I2C Design. Structural members supporting the plant deck at the roof level were used to support a single membrane of FR 700 Valmex PVC. Clever use of hanger supports negated the problem of an insufficient slope for rainfall runoff.
Edge connections along the convex arc incorporated a cover flap that was sealed on-site to the building in order to fully waterproof the opening.
