Collins Street is in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. It has special significance to Melburnians for it’s political, cultural and tourism importance.

It exudes style and glamour with exclusive jewellery stores, 5 star hotels, designer shops and private clubs within it’s precinct. It’s also the city’s premier commercial business hub with major corporations in abundance. There’s a mix of heritage and modern architecture.

Bovis Lend Lease approached Oasis to construct this “umbrella” style structure. The design sits comfortably within the streetscape. Vivid red Ferrari 502 Precontraint fabric has been used to highlight the structure against the background and adjoining buildings.

The umbrella provides shelter for pedestrians and office workers accessing the thoroughfare and nearby buildings
