Events of any size and description are more spectacular when combined in some way with fabric architecture. The Grand Pavilion is used to house many diverse events including, the Royal Agricultural Show, gifts and homeware, trucks and buses, horses, 4 x 4, fishing and boating. It was even used for the television program Top Gear. Nowingi Place, Mildura is used for musical and live performances including opera, rock concerts and The Wiggles. Phoenix Symphony Hall on the other hand serves the main purpose of providing a focal point and shade protection for patrons at the west ticket office and main entrance.
